Using the built-in Diamond pin probe, this multi-parameter tester measures 4 parameters (Ra, Rz, Rq, Rt). It has 4 wave filtering methods (RC, PC-RC, GAUSS & D-P) and memorize 7 groups of measurement results & conditions for use at a later time. Widely used in production site to measure surface roughness of various machinery-processed parts, calculate corresponding parameters and clearly display all measurement parameters in Metric or Imperial. In addition, said parameters can be downloaded directly to PC as well via the optional RS-232 CD software & cable and passed ISO, DIN, ANSI and JIS international standards.
Measurement can be done by placing the sensor on the surface then uniformly slide the highly sensitive sharp built-in probe. This roughness causes displacement of the probe which results in change of inductive amount of induction coils so as to generate analogue signal, which is in proportion to the surface roughness at output end of phase-sensitive rectifier. The exclusive DSP processes and calculates then outputs the results clearly on LCD.
